Texas Tech 2nd degree BSN program 2015

Hey I was looking for a new thread on the people applying for the Texas Tech 2015 accelerated 2nd degree BSN program, specifically Austin, and couldn't find one so I thought I would start one. All the previous threads have been really helpful. Is there anyone applying for the Austin location?? Anyone already have their CNA or planning on getting it soon??

Has anybody heard about interviews yet??

I Haven't heard yet. I think I am going nuts checking the site several times every single day. lol I am guessing we will get them by the 13th since that is 2 weeks before interviews!

FYI--I just spoke with one of the advisors and she said notification emails would be going out this week and possibly into next week for interviews!

I scored an 84 on the TEAS V. My overall GPA is a 3.75 and my science GPA is a 4.0. I just completed my CNA, however I do not have any medical experience aside from that. I do have volunteer experience though, and I'm hoping to spin my teaching experience into reasons as to why I'd make a great nurse! In the meantime I'm playing the waiting game...

I just got an interview too! Ill be at the dallas location on THURSDAYYY! Starting on my essay once i get off of work :D. One foot in the door guys!

You applied for Dallas too?! Hehe mine's at 3:30 =D. GOOD LUCK TO YOU! I think if all goes well, we hear about acceptance the week after interviews. And I spoke to the front desk a couple weeks ago. They're looking to fill 15-20 slots for the Dallas cohort. And I saw there's like 35 interview slots. We have a good chance at getting in.. *faints* haha
