Texas Tech 2nd degree accelerated BSN 2018

Published

Is it too early to start this thread? I couldn't find another one.

I am planning on applying to the TT 2nd degree BSN program in May in hopes to begin in January 2018.

Anyone else?? Anyone in the program currently or recently have any info to share?? Which location is everyone applying?

Thanks!!

Hi guys! So I just received a phone call today and I was offered admission at the Austin campus! Good luck everyone! Hope you all hear soon!

kl1576, did they not send an email also?

I believe it was because I did not get into my first choice, Dallas, and at my interview I mentioned I would be willing to go to any location. The official invites should be coming Thursday.

I wonder if invites for all sites will go out Thursday? Lubbock interviews were just last week..

if anyone else receives a phone call or any emails regarding acceptance please let us know! I am getting antsy after reading that message lol

Yeah my interview was on the 30th in Lubbock

Hey i also got a phone call today about not being accepted into Dallas or San Antonio which were my two choices, but they offered me admission to the Austin cohort. She said the acceptance email will be sent out Thursday or Friday you guys ! of course i took the Austin cohort

Congratulations!

Congratulations, you guys!! Fingers crossed for Lubbock!!

Congrats to those who have gotten in! So exciting :)

Can't wait until Thursday!!!

I just saw this thread and it seems to have a lot of useful information. Good luck to those who applied to Dallas, thank goodness I live near San Antonio!

I applied for the Veteran to BSN accelerated track however this is the closest thread/topic I could find for it. I noticed during my interviews that they were held in conjunction with those applying for the 2nd degree program. I am curious as to wether those available spots or for both tracks, or there are separate spots available for the VBSN track.

After reading everyone's comments I am hoping to get the email by the end of this week. I have a 4.0 science GPA, 3.9 overall and scored a 87% on the TEAS. Have several years of medical experience as a medic in the Army. Good luck to everyone!

Im not sure if available spots are for both tracks. I believe that each program has a specific number of alloted spots. I initially looked into the VBSN track (USMC vet here) but since I did not have a medical MOS I was not eligible even though I have 9 years experience as a civilian paramedic.
