Texas Tech 2nd degree accelerated BSN 2018

Is it too early to start this thread? I couldn't find another one.

I am planning on applying to the TT 2nd degree BSN program in May in hopes to begin in January 2018.

Anyone else?? Anyone in the program currently or recently have any info to share?? Which location is everyone applying?

For those who applied for VBSN, did y'all also receive the email we all did today?

Just trying to give myself hope that maybe I'll know by this weekend í ½í¸…

So it seems that VBSN students are part of each cohort's available seats and get preference over 2nd degree students?

I'm not sure about that. I was under the impression that there were specific seperate spots for VBSN students but that they didn't detract from the available spots for 2nd degree students. However, I'm not 100% on that. Someone commented earlier that if certain VBSN spots do not get filled, they may extend them to 2nd degree students. Perhaps they are waiting to see if those spots all get filled before they can offer them out as additional spots for 2nd degree students? What do you think? Have you heard anything else possibly?

Im not sure because we just bought a house my husband is a policeman in dallas I literally CAN NOT uproot. But if campus days are together then maybe I could make the drive?

I'm not sure making the drive every day would be feasible, did you see that our first class will be 1/9/18 - 1/12/18 & 1/16/18 - 1/19/18? Relocating may be a must if our other classes will be like that as well...and imagine the drive for clinicals...not sure if I can relocate from Dallas though...
