Is it too early to start one? I couldn't find one. Maybe too early?
I am planning on applying to the TT 2nd degree BSN program in May in hopes to begin in January 2017.
Anyone else?? Anyone in the program currently or recently have any info to share??
Thanks!!
That's what I'm hoping for, kawillen! HahaI have to work tomorrow 7-7 and we're not supposed to have our phones on the floor, but I'll be sneaking and watching like a hawk tomorrow!!
I agree, Jessica, even if we don't get accepted, at least we'll know offers went out here! Then we're not just anxiously waiting for nothing anymore. Haha.
That is ridiculous! what if, God forbid, someone has a family emergency? That policy doesn't make sense to me at all.
@promix4him, are you serious????? What about for those of us who interviewed in Austin 2 and a half weeks ago?!?! Who did you talk to? And were they certain that we wouldn't hear anything today?
Yeah I am serious. As dead serious as a Code Blue. I didn't get his name but he definitely did not sound at all like we'll hear anything in the next couple of weeks. I hope he is wrong
I'm confused. What are you all talking about?
@promix4him you called and asked when we should expect to hear back and the guy said not for another couple of weeks?
i wanna know just like everyone else but fretting over it and trying to get information that's unconfirmed or guessing when we will hear back is not gonna help.
just sit tight and relax.

Hi everyone,
I am cracking up at all the comments so I figured it was time to create an account to tell you what I know. I applied for the Lubbock site. I know a lot about the program. The admissions committee just met this week, so I am not sure if acceptances will be going out today or not but maybe we will get lucky! We will definitely find out soon. They don't follow the same "schedule" every year as far when the interviews will take place, when the committee meets, and when acceptances go out. They have general time frames that they shoot for each year, but nothing is ever set in stone and nothing is the same from year to year.
Austin is always the most competitive site, with way more applicants than spots available. The good news is that now that the economy is better and less people are switching careers, there are less applicants than in past years. Abilene, Odessa, and Amarillo are probably the easiest sites to get into, because less people prefer those locations so there are less applicants. I would say your chances at getting in are pretty good if you interviewed for one of those sites and didn't screw up your interview :). Lubbock and Dallas are a little more competitive, but not as competitive as Austin.
One more thing...the dates were wrong on the sheets we received at the interview and align with last January's dates. Nothing will fall on a weekend for that course.
