Is it too early to start one? I couldn't find one. Maybe too early?

I am planning on applying to the TT 2nd degree BSN program in May in hopes to begin in January 2017.

Anyone else?? Anyone in the program currently or recently have any info to share??

Thanks!!

Sure but everyone is jus speculating. This information is not from the admissions committee. I mean if Elizabeth Martinez or anyone from admissions is saying October then ok otherwise the info is useless.

Im having a horrible day so thank you for reminding me that it is all speculation. You are absolutely right. í ½í¸‰

@cheinroth

ya dude, don't worry. I'm sure we will

have our good news soon.

Hey everyone! I talked to Elizabeth yesterday, as there was a situation she had to tell me about regarding my application. She told me she was working on acceptance emails yesterday, and is working to get them out "soon." I doubt it'll be 2 weeks, but who knows. I do know they've decreased the class size for the next cycle in Dallas by about half, which was a bummer to hear. But best of luck to everyone!

If I picked Lubbock as my first choice, but told them I really don't mind if they need me to go anywhere else, will they put me somewhere else? For example, if Lubbock is full, can they place me in any of the other 6 locations?

Yes, if you're accepted but they don't have room for you in Lubbock, they'll notify you to see if you'd like to be placed somewhere else. Assuming they have room in the other locations. @gnab419

Good question @gnab419! If Dallas is full, I hope if there are openings they would consider putting me somewhere else. =/

Without divulging too much, I know the admissions committee met yesterday afternoon. As for the male someone spoke to in the office, there are no males that work in student affairs. He was a student assistant so I wouldn't take what he said to heart. I bet we will hear something next week. The letters take awhile. Elizabeth has a job that probably should be split between 4 people, because there is so much to to do! She also works on admissions for the traditional undergraduate BSN program, which receives hundreds more applications.

What was your 2nd choice?

Dallas, but I really don't care. I just want a shot to get in!! Lol

You are absolutely correct. I did not take the guy too seriously. Although I managed to convince myself that this will take a while so that I don't keep fretting. it will happen when it happens. Fretting wont change a thing:yes:
