Texas Tech BSN wannabe

Brand new to this board and hoping for some advice on the traditional BSN program at Texas Tech I'm applying to Texas Tech for Fall, 2011 traditional BSN and don't know anything about the program except the information on the school's website. It would be wonderful to hear an honest assessment from someone in (or who has graduated from) the program. I guess this is probably the biggest decision I've had to make in my life and, in some ways, I feel clueless about how to assess the pros and cons of the program. I would appreciate (beyond words!) anyone who has attended the traditional BSN program offering their opinions about the school, the community, the clinicals, the faculty, the lifestyle or anything you might think would help a 20 year old wannabe BSN/RN to make a better decision. So I got my acceptance letter, I paid the $100 fee and accepted the offer on Merlin. Then today I receive an email on my yahoo account saying I was denied entry and I'm on a waiting list. How is that possible???

OMG, that is so terrible and scary! WTH? I wonder what happened . I'm so sorry. Maybe there was some sort of mistake. That sucks so much after being so excited about it and telling everyone. I would be devastated.

Omg I was like crying!! Totally devastated. But, I'm hoping it's just a mistake because they sent it to my yahoo email which I never really use and all the other acceptance emails where to my tech mail. I hope to figure it all out tomorrow. I'm still hopeful since I have already paid and Merlin still says I'm accepted.

i've taken the intro to nursing at tech during the spring, and i'll be taking patho this summer..

I took Intro to Nurisng and Patho at Tech last fall. Intro was pretty easy mostly writing papers and patho was more challenging... the tests are open book but there is so much information! good luck!
