I’m not sure if it’s too early to start this thread, but anyone on here planning on applying to Texas Tech’s Second Degree program in May?

Hi KemiOg, I just emailed you. I didn't get a response on this forum so I ended up contacting the program for all of the links!

What are all's science GPAs? I have a 3.6 but I am scared it won't be good enough because I had to retake 2 classes (got Cs) and it might count against me

Bvv_ I think you need to include the C's in your science prerequisite GPA.

I'm at a 3.5 but that does not include pathophysiology yet... need to take it this Summer. With an A in pathophysiology the most it can raise my science GPA is to 3.58.

The site states the minimum science GPA is 2.5 and that preference is for science GPA over 3.0. I emailed ------ about if previous grades will be accumulated into the science GPA and she advised that the best grades will be calculated!

Hey guys! So I recently heard of this program and don't know much about it. Does anyone know how it compares to TWU 2nd degree BSN program? Both would be in Dallas. I know this one is faster but more of the instruction is online.

does anyone know if patho has to be taken by the time application is over ? or can we turn it in at the end of Summer?

Thats a great question. That might be a question better directed to the admissions people bc the website used to say it was required as one of the 3 of 5 sciences required before application and now it doesnt mention it.

By the beginning of the class I think

you need to have at least 3 science classes, patho counts as one. If you have the other sciences you just need patho by January but you have to submit proof that you are enrolled in it by July 15th

Hey guys! for the medical terminology, does it have to be a class or the certificate of completion ?
