I’m not sure if it’s too early to start this thread, but anyone on here planning on applying to Texas Tech’s Second Degree program in May?

I haven't heard much of a push from Dallas on acceptances. I am still holding onto hope so we are in this together keep your heads up.

@Bustahunt There's lots of people accepted to Dallas already, maybe not in am here but on another app there is. They’ve already formed a FB group.

I have an appointment to get my fingerprints tomorrow. Has everyone that got admitted already do this? I’m wondering if I should just wait to get them until I hear a decision back on whether I am accepted or not? Any advice?

I would probably wait until after the week of sept 28th if I were you. I got accepted and my appt is oct 5. But the people who were initially accepted have until the 28th to accept or decline so if you want until then and see if you get a spot that maybe someone declined it could save you some money.

The admitted folks who've completed fingerprints before acceptance letters (yesterday) were also applicants for another RN program.

 

I coincidently had my prints done today, after being offered acceptance yesterday. My recommendation is to wait for a final answer (unless you have pending results for other programs or plan to apply to more). They're required for all schools. Basically you'll pay either $40 for prints tomorrow or at a later date this year (if you're still applying).

For all that have been admitted or have CNA certification... What program did you use? And does anyone know if you can opt out of the coursework if you have already been a medical assistant. Thank you!
