I’m not sure if it’s too early to start this thread, but anyone on here planning on applying to Texas Tech’s Second Degree program in May?

I know as of like 10 days ago they were still planning on holding interviews the last week of August and the first week of September! I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s changed though 2020 has been wild!

Too bad they can't just take us all in, based on the fact that even through all that is this pandemic, we still want to be nurses ?

Did anyone receive interview invites yet? Will they let us know if we don’t get invited for interviews?

My transcripts & all other required documents are completely checked off. Both my cGPA & sGPA are within a 3.5- 3.75 range. I feel like this years going to be a bit tough for some of us since there’s more applicants & the # of slots is probably still the same or even lesser. Hopefully my grade is competitive enough to at least get an interview. I see other applicants in here sharing their 3.8 and above grades so it made me a bit discouraged. I should’ve aced more classes LOL.

Also, does any one know any practice questions for the interview portion? I’m not the best when it comes to public speaking. Thank you in advance!

From looking at past forums I don’t think they let you know if you don’t receive an invite! That could change this year of course so who knows. No one really knows when we should expect to hear from them at this point!

So for everyone’s sake, please comment if/when you get an interview so everyone else can know it’s happening! Otherwise, everyone who doesn’t get one will be left wondering if it’s been decided yet or not. ?

I will do that! hopefully we hear soon kind of worried that we haven't heard anything yet. I am sure they are overwhelmed. I pray we hear soon!
