I haven't seen a thread for those of us applying May 1st to the January 2020 cohort. I'm wondering how heavily they weigh the TEAS. Also, I have heard as long as you meet all criteria they typically give you an interview. Has anyone else heard this? I really like how they take a holistic approach to grant admissions. I'm wanting to apply to UTA but I feel like the main way you get extra points is by attending school there which I did not do! We'll see!

Thx! It's not ideal as I live downtown. If I lived in the burbs between Austin & SA, then the commute difference in to downtown Austin vs NW SA isn't as significant. We need to be there 2-4x per week, so that's a big cost (time primarily, gas, etc).
Congrats @atxmitch! You got in for sure! Would you be comfortable sharing some of your stats (overall GPA, nursing sciences GPA, TEAS score, healthcare experience, volunteering, etc.)? It would ease some of my anxiety and I'm sure the anxiety of others to know what it actually takes to get accepted!
@OhHeyItsPK, hmmm, i'm not banking on it until i have an actual acceptance letter! i'll dm you w my info.

Ugh yes! I'm glad I'm not the only one over here checking my email CONSTANTLY. I want to know so badly! I'm holding onto hope that we will find out this week! They told us we'd know about interviews mid-August and we got that email August 2nd. So I'm crossing my fingers.
