Texas Tech-Accelerated BSN Spring 2020

I haven't seen a thread for those of us applying May 1st to the January 2020 cohort. I'm wondering how heavily they weigh the TEAS. Also, I have heard as long as you meet all criteria they typically give you an interview. Has anyone else heard this? I really like how they take a holistic approach to grant admissions. I'm wanting to apply to UTA but I feel like the main way you get extra points is by attending school there which I did not do! We'll see!

TELL ME ABOUT IT!!! 10 min of waiting with no mic on myself and my kids walked in behind me (off the bus 20 minutes late)and I wasn't aware til I saw them on my computer ?‍♀️

I felt like my interview was so short... mine was on site ? They didn’t really ask me as many questions as I thought they would, I was so nervous too ?

Mine was really only 10 minutes. The past few minutes I asked questions. I’m honestly not sure what the goal was other than to see our looks!

Oh! When I first logged in, I was talking to a group of current nursing students. My instructions said login 10 minutes early in case I had issues. Well that made me have to chat to about 4 students! It was cool but I am kinda shy! The. I was redirected to the room with the 3 clinical site directors. Probably who you saw. Abilene, Dallas, and Odessa I believe. I am trying to get into Dallas. Which location are you?

Oh okay! Lol that group chat was where our waiting area was if we got there early, I thought that was kind of weird too ? I also got to sit with the current students and then I was interviewed by the three clinical site directors as well. I am also trying to get into Dallas and Abilene is my second choice!
