Hi! I am a current student and created this thread to connect applicants as it was helpful to me when I was going through the application process! Good luck on your applications!

So Abilene has had acceptance’s as well? 
Any idea how many were accepted to Dallas? 
I’m no longer optimistic…. Feel like crying most off the time! Just waiting for the final kick … with a denial?

I’ve balled my eyes out just about everyday. I seems like I’m just waiting on my denial letter.  It’s been over 2 months since interviews started. This process—the wait—it’s all tough! Life is literally on hold. I can’t make other plans because of the unknown. I’m  trying my best to hold on to the little hope I have left. We’re just here, stuck waiting. Not fair at all!!

Agreed! I’m trying to get my head together so I can work on plan b !

Students have been accepted to every location. I’m just not sure how many per location.

It’s hard to get real numbers because this group and other 2023 TTU nursing groups have less than 100 students (there were 500 applicants, per TTU). There are so many students that could’ve been accepted and we wouldn’t know at this time because they’re not in any of the nursing groups.

El Paso location hasn’t gotten anything yet but for the fall only 70 we’re accepted and they usually take 80. This is making me even more nervous ?

Honestly, I don’t think all acceptances have been sent out, because if that were the case, the denials would’ve already have been sent out

I think they are deciding who gets a denial & who goes on the waitlist.

What makes you say that? Are all the sites full?

I was waitlisted last year, obviously never made it off the list. 
I am just really discouraged !

I didn’t realize they waitlist people. Theres hope!

Unfortunately, I don’t think anyone gets off the waitlist because spots are coveted.

How are you guys finding out if sites are full? I don’t understand where everyone is getting the sites are full. Please fill me in!
