I know applications are just going out but I thought I would start a thread so that anyone applying to Texas State this semester can share their stats/questions/comments

Im currently sitting at a:

Prerequisite: 3.55

Science: 3.39

Teas: 93 composite & 99th percentile

What about you guys?

Oh I'm so sorry Law154, I didn't see this until just now! I bet you will be chosen from the alternate list since this is the second time you've been waitlisted. I bet you'll be at the top of the alternate list tbh. Try and find out as much info as you can about being as competitive as possible. I know TXST was your number 1 choice but, did you already get into any other back up schools? That might bring a lot of comfort. I am praying for you and you are in my thoughts sweet girl!

Thank you for the kind words! I have until April 14th to email to be considered for the alternate list. I don't know what went wrong. I guess it was my TEAS scores, they met the minimums but I guess weren't as competitive. My GPAS are great so I really don't think that was a factor but who knows. I just am having a hard time being waitlisted from my own school twice. I have all of my classes completed and everything so I guess only time will tell. I was accepted to Tech, but haven't heard back from UTMB or UT health.

I received an email that I had too many credit hours left. I had 16 left and am currently retaking chemistry making it 20 hours. They also said that if I get all of my pre reqs too them by June 1 I could be considered as an alternate. I'm unsure though because I need my speech credit, and nutrition credit that I was planning on taking this summer. Just hoping to make it to the alternate list now

Hey there! You aren't the only the only one waitlisted! I was too! Which for me is so much worse than a no because I'm so impatient. How did it work last year? Do they ever tell you where you are on the list? I'm treating it as a no and doing my backup plan. Congrats to you all that got in!!!!

Hi! Last year I did ask if there was some sort of order and they basically told me that they weren't allowed to tell me all of that. Lol. But anyways, if you respond and say that you would like to be considered then they will call you if they have a spot for you.
