I know applications are just going out but I thought I would start a thread so that anyone applying to Texas State this semester can share their stats/questions/comments

Im currently sitting at a:

Prerequisite: 3.55

Science: 3.39

Teas: 93 composite & 99th percentile

What about you guys?

I am in Pesthy's! I have to say I am super grateful for her hard- line teaching methods. I'm an older returning student n I tell you what. No matter what obstacles you face in life, it is ALWAYS beneficial to have that one person who is a highly intelligent hardass that cares enough to not let you take the easy route. I will be forever indebted to her...

I absolutely love how much Pesthy has challengened me and how much I've learned! She legit taught me sooooooo much!! And not only that, she was there for me when I was going through a very personal difficult time. My only wish is that she had a more organized timeline for test dates and such! And didn't make us responsible for slides she couldn't finish. Other than that I know I'm going to benefit so much from this class in nursing school!!!

Hey everyone! Congrats to you all. Unfortunately, I didn't get the greatest of news- I was waitlisted. For. The. Second. Time. I am upset and disappointed to say the least. I am a current TXST student and met all of the qualifications. I received my email and it said to be sure to stay up with the deadlines in the case that a spot opens up for me. I am really confused, and don't know if I should wait it out or what. By the time I get an answer everyone I know will already have roommates and stuff. It sucks.

Pray for good news for me, TXST was my first choice and I am feeling really down about it now. Again, congrats to everyone!

Oh I'm so sorry Law154, I didn't see this until just now! I bet you will be chosen from the alternate list since this is the second time you've been waitlisted. I bet you'll be at the top of the alternate list tbh. Try and find out as much info as you can about being as competitive as possible. I know TXST was your number 1 choice but, did you already get into any other back up schools? That might bring a lot of comfort. I am praying for you and you are in my thoughts sweet girl!
