Hey everyone! There is no thread for fall 2015 yet (maybe it's a little early), so I decided to be the one to create it today. The application deadline is January 15. Right now, I am super nervous about the TEAS V. I plan on taking it sometime within the next month or so.

Current stats:

Overall GPA - 3.77

Science GPA 4.0

I also applied for Fall 2015. I have both 4.0 for my overall GPA and science GPA, but I'm worried sick about my TEAS V score. I got a composite score of 82%, but I'm nervous that low percentage of my math (which didn't make the minimum) will bring me down. Did anyone receive a background check notification yet? Your GPA is amazing! I'm not sure how strict they would be on the minimums for the TEAS... did you take the TEAS V twice? I think they start doing background checks in February!

Thanks! Yes, I did take the TEAS twice. I tested on the university testing center and in the PSI center on my second try. My twin already got the background fast pass check email (I think that's how they called it in the previous thread), and I didn't get any correspondence yet. They did received my application though. :/

Wow that was quick! I got an email that said they recieved my application too... Hmmm... :/ I don't know what that means. I hope we get a background check email soon.

That's why I've been constantly anxious, and I will probably be so during the next two months. My twin and I hand delivered our applications the same time, but I guess they have a backlog or something?

I hope we do get it during February!

Yes got it a few days ago. Everyone should receive one. I was worried when I heard everyone at school talking about it and I hadn't gotten one so I called the school and they told me everyone gets one irregardless they just all come at different times and a few days later mine came.

Hi guys,

I applied for this fall, too. I scored a 96% on the TEAS, 3.8 GPA in science/math, 4.0 in basic prereqs. I felt pretty good about my application, but I haven't gotten an email for the background check yet. I'm getting a little scared! The only thing I am concerned about is the number of classes I have left to take; Texas State didn't accept my nutrition or VPA credit (from previous undergrad work in California), and I still have History 1 and 2, English Lit, and Ethics (which I am currently taking) left. That gives me the MAX amount of unfinished credits. I was hoping to petition to get credit for the VPA, and I took a CLEP exam for History 1, so I have since earned credit for the course. I turned in my application almost two weeks early, so I feel like something is wrong! Is anyone else concerned?
