Texas State University Fall 2015

Hey everyone! There is no thread for fall 2015 yet (maybe it's a little early), so I decided to be the one to create it today. The application deadline is January 15. Right now, I am super nervous about the TEAS V. I plan on taking it sometime within the next month or so.

Current stats:

Overall GPA - 3.77

Science GPA 4.0

I received the email for the background check about 3-4 weeks ago. Everyone should have gotten one, unless you already have some sort of license in nursing I believe?

I have not heard anything nor received any email. I guess it will be Monday or Tuesday after all.

I have not received the background check.. don't know what that means for sure..

I received a background check a couple of weeks ago, however it is not due till the middle of June.

I haven't received the background check either. I thought my application was pretty strong...96 on the TEAS, high math and science GPA. The only thing I was worried about were the amount of pre-reqs that I have left (6), some of which I want to petition to get credit for from previous undergrad work (the VPA credit, Nutrition). Good or bad, we'll know something on Tuesday.

I wouldn't worry about it. I didn't get it either but I looked at the forum for last year and some people who didn't get it last year were accepted and some people who did receive it didn't get in so I don't think it really matters when.

I wouldn't worry about it. I didn't get it either but I looked at the forum for last year and some people who didn't get it last year were accepted and some people who did receive it didn't get in so I don't think it really matters when.

I recommend calling to check if they have the correct email but otherwise I wouldn't stress too much about it
