My thoughts exactly! I was already thinking that when the time comes we should coordinate an event to celebrate all of us getting in. We have all worked so hard, we are all very competitive, and I feel very strongly that we all have an excellent shot!

OK, I finally broke down and called to confirm. They do have my correct score. Yippeee. I wasn't going to until I had a dream last night that I wasn't accepted and the only thing that was wrong is that they received the wrong score and they wouldn't go back and re-evaluate my application because they were already full. How funny is that?

BTW, they told me they are planning on sending letters out at the end of this month or the first of November. So we still have a few weeks.

    Back to studying for Patho.

Good, I'm glad you checked butterfly_journey! I can't believe we have only three weeks to go! yikes. I'm thinking they send them out on Oct 30, and we get them shortly after that. The last spring applicants heard on nov. 4.

Yeah,I called TWU yesterday to confirm my HESI exam scores as well and I was also told we should be receiving our letters before November 1st which is great news. The time is almost here and it seems like it's taking even longer even though we only have about 3 weeks left

Ugh. I am stressing this Patho test. Now that I know how hard it will be, I feel like I need to just memorize the chapters, which is not possible, hence the stress. Blech.

yah lol. I know what you mean. Just try to remember how it works don't memorize. My pharm prof taught me that memorization is not going to do anything if you don't know how it works and if you are in a stressful situation, everything you memorized flies out the window. Good luck!

Goopsy is right! That is the key to success in Patho, very little is memorization. The key is the understanding of the mechanisms- why it happens, what goes wrong, and what parts are involved in it. Hang in there, I know it is STRESSFUL. I think going over and over the lecture notes, the book, and the end of chapter reviews really helps. Focus on class right now and try not to think about the other. You all can do it!!! Best Wishes

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Did someone once post on here that Patho was the hardest class that they had taken during their nursing school career? I swear I saw that somewhere. I sure hope so, 'cause there is way too much information in these chapters to know everything and there certainly aren't any clues (teacher or book) to what is most important. I know she says that if she doesn't cover it in her notes, then it's not going to be on the test, but good grief her notes are just bullet points of every paragraph in the book. That's not letting me know what I don't have to study.

    Good luck to you guys.
