i was wondering about the requirements of the texas BON (endorsement RN)...

am i still eligble coz i just found out 3 days ago that i passed but i have CA license and i don't have any experience over there and now i'm currently residing here in texas. am i still eligible to apply TX license?

yes texas will be the state i will transfer my nclex exam.so if i submit the verification form together with the 60 dollar then cali.will send it to texas together with the letter from cali that i passed the nclex.?is that it bec. yes i have the letter stating that i passed the nclex in cali.but that was before 2006.in my understanding is it cali will be the one giving the letter that i passed the nclex together with the verification form that i download to texas.? by the way im from the philippines.

or you mean i have to attach my letter of passing in cali together with the verifiaction form and 60 dollar?

and by the way the passed letter is that the candidate report worth 10 dollar or the first letter that i received from cali that i passed the nclex then i have to provide a ssn or else my file will be abandoned?

let me try to repeat that...

paying of the $60 is the payment for the california board of nursing to fill out the verification of the your license for nclex rn. you have to attach your letter of passing from the california bon just for formality sake. and that's it.

the letter that i mean is the first letter that the california board of nursing sent you, like that you passed nclex and have to provide ssn or else your file will be abandoned after 3 years.

i am not quite sure anymore what to do about your case espcially that you passed your exam 4 years ago. im not so sure about that... well try anyways...

and other thing is i just went to US embassy manila this morning to get a finger print card they have given me two set the other one has a new mexico address in origin the other one has no address in origin they told me i can use it in any state which one will i use? is this okay to be used in texas?

I have another query on the VERIFICATION OF RN LICENSURE FORM..Part I of this form asks the applicant bout (a) Original state of licensure, (b) issue date of original licensure & © original license number...As i hav said in my previous post, im a foreign-educated one & holds a license (RN) in the Philippines..How am i supposed to answer items a,b & c knowing that I dont hold california license due to the absence of my SSN?I am so confused with these..please help me guys

for the verification you will have 1 copy each for california and the other one for PRC in the philippines.

for california verification questions, answer the following:

a) california, USA

b) date of your exam

c) you will leave this blank since a license number cannot be issued.

@ meredithder: how long did u wait for ur fingerfrint cards??iv requested one a week ago & I receive none up to this time..

yeah, i think that it doesn't matter with the address of the fingerprint card. just make sure to send both just to make it sure ...

just send both, it will be fine with them. i sent both fingerprint cards as well...

i'm not quite sure if we can request and send it directly from texas and let the board send it to us. with mine, i asked a friend who lives in texas to ask for a fingerprint card and he was the one who sent it to me,

the card takes a week to be sent to him and took 10 days to finally reach me... just ask a friend to send it to you if you have. just make sure it not folded or anything...

A.)city of program would be the address of your school where you graduated with your BSN degree

b) for the province/state: supply it with your province. we don't have states here in the philippines...

c)date of completion: date of your BSN graduation.

the day that you have on your diploma...

for the verification of license, it depends...

because you have 2 license already, one in philippines and the other one in california.

if you are asking for the verification here in the philippines then you write philippines but if you are asking to verify your license from california then you put california...
