Concorde Career College Dallas - RN Program

U.S.A. Texas

Has anyone enrolled into Concorde for the LVN or RN program in Dallas (not Arlington)? I am looking to enroll into school for an RN or LVN program in the DFW Dallas, TX area. I've looked into Community Colleges including Brookhaven College, El Centro, TWU and Arlington University. I have two children ages 8 and 12 years old and three months pregnant with another. I have put off my nursing education for many years and wish to go ahead and finish already. I also looked into Dallas Nursing Institute but just found out about Concorde Career College offering the LVN and RN program in Dallas. What did you have to do to get into Concorde? What testing applies to be admitted? If you are enrolled already, what is your experience with this particular school?

I have the same dilemma! I really hope someone can answer!

Concorde's Dallas campus is very new, so you will probably not receive any feedback from anyone who has graduated from any of their nursing programs. The campus in Arlington, on the other hand, has been around for many years.

I guess nobody has enrolled or is not speaking up!

Did you find any answers about Concorde? I am looking in to going. Thx

Any luck on the info on concorde? I am looking into this school. Have you signed up or are you still researching? Thx

I'll reiterate that Concorde's Dallas campus is extremely new; therefore, we are not going to receive feedback from any of its graduates yet. This is because the school has not yet produced any graduates since it is new.

I finished at the dallas campus in Nov 2014 for LVN. I don't know if the 1st RN program has graduated yet. They just started Jan 2014.

How did you like the school? I have read good and bad rreviews. Have you found a job yet? Sorry for all the questions but it is hard to find anyone who has graduated from this location. Any information you have will be greatful to me. Thank you

I just got to meet with the school. I took an assessment test and was informed that after I take the TEAS with a minimum passing score they will not let me know if I am accepted until 2 weeks before the program starts in JUNE. Not sure what to think? Apparently they only have 30 spots available for this year. In anyone familiar with this school on how many spots they really have available?

I ask because I was told first that I will have to wait until 2 weeks before the program to start to know if I will be selected out of all the applicants. Right before I left I told the advisor that I will take the TEAS in 4 weeks so I can study. She then stated that I should "get the TEAS done asap so that I can be ahead of others." This made me wonder what their process is for the applicants is and how many applicants they really have, and how many spots they really have available. Is anyone familiar with this school?

I'm having a hard time getting a straight answer on their RN program. They said they'll accept 30 people. I went home to study. A week later I called back to set my test date and was told the class was full. I guess you have to get an awesome passing score and pay a deposit to get accepted.
