I graduated from my LVN program yesterday!
Our school didn't really explain any of this to us, so here goes:
How and where do I register for the jurisprudence exam?
Is there an additional cost aside from the cost of the NCLEX?
Thanks!(:

Go here and follow the instructions.
The JP exam must be completed before being allowed to sit for your NCLEX. There is no cost for the exam (but they do have a $25 review course you can take, pointless IMO). You can take the exam as many times as needed to pass.

Discussion has been moved to the Texas Nursing forum since the question is unrelated to NCLEX and the jurisprudence exam is specific only to the Texas Board of Nursing. We wish you the best of luck!
I tried that but I get an error message that states, "Login credentials do not match the information on file with the Texas Board of Nursing. Please double check your information and try again."

Make sure that you have submitted your application for licensure with the Texas BON. When you click on the link for the exam, make sure you enter your name exactly as you entered it on your application and choose the option "LVN graduate". If you still get that message, contact the BON and check the status of your application.
Thanks! How do I go about registering with the BON?
I was a part time high school, part time LVN student. Our program wasn't the best as far as organization and didn't tell us any of this.
Thanks so much for your help!
Also, I have had some people say that the total cost for the NCLEX and the jurisprudence costs $339, however, NCLEX only costs $200. Any clue where they got $339?

$139 to register for nclex and $200 for the nclex exam itself. Also 9.95 for fingerprints.
