Creating this thread for those who applied to the Texas Health Resources Nurse Residency this upcoming Summer (July) 2021. Applications opened this Thursday (2/11). Good luck to us all!

Just chiming in to say I also applied to like 27 positions in Fort Worth, HEB, and Arlington. I ranked critical care units and ED as my top choices. So far, I’ve received a bunch of preference forms and two notifications that I am no longer being considered for a position (I think cardiac and neuro tele in FW if I remember correctly). Good luck everyone!

Did you receive emails saying that you were no longer being considered for that position? Or did your application status change to "no longer considered"?

Yes I received emails and also saw on my profile “no longer being considered.” The remaining half say “under review” or “received.”

Anyone heard anything yet?  I'm so impatient LOL. I'm thinking I probably won't be considered thoughtless because of my 2 years of RN experience.  Tried to sneak it past em haha.

Has anyone heard back about interviews? I emailed a recruiter and they said it could be as late as April to hear but just wondering if anyone has actually heard anything. 

Also, has anyone heard anything back from Arlington location?

I applied to the Dallas location only for ED and critical care. I have not received a preference yet and haven't heard from anyone.

Has anyone received an interview for NICU, Mother-Baby, or Labor and Delivery who is NOT internal? I have received a NICU job offer elsewhere, but really wanted to hear back from THR.

I also applied to dallas for labor and delivery

havent heard anything yet, application status still just says received, I’m assuming they haven’t looked at anyone’s apps yet for dallas
