Texas CRNA 2021 Application

Hi everyone! Haven't seen a thread for this application cycle so just thought I'd start one. I am applying to UTHealth, Baylor, TCU, and LSU for 2021 start.

My stats are:

GPA: 3.60

GRE: 315 (Q 158/V 157/W 4.5)

CCRN: 104/125

BLS/ACLS/PALS

1.5 years MICU/SICU

So nervous!! (especially for those interviews!!)

I got an email Monday about an interview.  When I did email them about a week ago they didn’t anticipate being done reviewing applications until the first week in October so don’t give up hope!

Oh wait, just saw it said group in the email.  I looked at the time to make sure it didn't change and didn't notice that it said group. I'm not crazy about that either

I have an individual interview and my fiance has a group interview. I would trade anyone for a group interview anytime! I interviewed last year with them. (Individual interview as well) and the anatomy professor is the one that interviewed me. I have heard that the group interview is a little bit more relaxed than the individual one. so take advantage of that! Good luck!

Anyone know why they do some group and some individual?

So I got a call from TexWes (yesterday) and they said I have a “fast track” interview with a single professor. Does anTone know what that will be like? It’s on 10/15 in the morning. Freaking out a little.

I'm not sure, but it sounds like they really like you!

I heard that fast track interview is more clinically based but I know last year they accepted pretty much all those who had the fast track interview! Good luck! I have an interview on the 15th as well. If anyone has any tips please let me know!
