Texas CRNA 2021 Application

Hi everyone! Haven't seen a thread for this application cycle so just thought I'd start one. I am applying to UTHealth, Baylor, TCU, and LSU for 2021 start.

My stats are:

GPA: 3.60

GRE: 315 (Q 158/V 157/W 4.5)

CCRN: 104/125

BLS/ACLS/PALS

1.5 years MICU/SICU

So nervous!! (especially for those interviews!!)

Thanks, I don't know how much more I can study to prepare. LOL

LOL no and I wouldn’t know. They actually didn’t ask me any questions regarding personal goals. But it would be a good idea to go into the AANA website and read a couple of articles regarding the practice. I did this and it gave me a bit of confidence just in case they asked if I had read any recent articles cause know others schools do ask

How has everyone’s interviews gone? Anyone get an offer on the spot?

They said we should expect feedback from Wednesday next week.  There is no on the spot offer.

Is anyone else still waiting for interview invite/update? I was told by 1/1 or 2/1. Maybe when they have decisions for this last round of interviews Wed as stated above

If you are waiting for Texas Wesleyan University, they have started sending out acceptance letters today, check your spam folders.

OK, I interviewed on the 13th, not sure how they are sending out the email,  but fingers crossed. Will be checking my email in case I'm one of the selected.

Yes they send out an email. It’s not in the junk email! So I guess this new system is working better! It just says there is an important update in your application portal. When I logged in to the new application portal, everything was already there !

I was waitlisted for TWU back in November, I was just told we should hear something by the end of this week or next week!
