Texas Christian University (TCU) | Texas Woman's University (TWU) CRNA School Application for 2020

Published

Hey everybody! I am planning on applying to TWU and TCU for the year 2020 and I am curious how competitive my stats are. I have 2.5 years experience in the CV/CICU at a Magnet teaching hospital. My overall GPA is 3.5. GRE 309 ( 306 V 303 Q 4.0). I have my BLS, PALS, ACLS, CCRN-CSC-CMC. What are my chances of getting in?

Just got an email from TCU

Well?? Did you get interviews? I'm still waiting ?

I got my interview invite this morning. I wonder why some of the emails are delayed?

I just got mine less than an hour ago. It may just take a while to work out the scheduling for everyone. Good luck everyone!

No didn't get an interview. Bummer

Damn sorry to hear that, your stats seemed solid!

I didn’t get an interview despite a 3.7- GPA, GRE -315, CCRN, 3 years experience in a high acuity SICU and lots of committees and experience. I’ve also gotten interviews at 2 other schools I applied to this cycle. This doesn’t make sense ?...

Don't count yourselves out yet. They are probably still sending out invitations.

Got mine an hour ago! Got an interview ?

I’m having a difficult time understanding TCU’s program sequence... The whole primary clinical site vs distance learning options. Can anyone dumb it down for me? Where are you supposed to live?

I believe they have distance learning options for out of town/out of state students. From what I understand it's a little extra $$ for the distance classes, so if you live in Tarrant County or the surrounding areas you'll be going into class unless you elect for the distance learning.
