Texas Christian University (TCU) - applying for 2022

Published

I didn’t see a thread for the Texas Christian University class beginning in 2022. Good luck everyone.

Whew, interview done! Like others have said, everybody was so nice. No real clinical questions, just asking about my specific ICU experience. They said that they’re all meeting tomorrow to discuss, and we’ll find out one way or another next week. Fingers crossed & good luck everyone!

Congratulations! Thanks for the info

OMG the 1st interview was so nerve wracking. I did get clinical questions pertaining to my area if practice. Now on to the second one. Good luck everyone!

I hope everyone that interviewed got that cup of coffee, beer, glass of wine, or whatever it is that helps ya relax. You earned it after all the stress!

Amen. Headed to do that now

It’s so interesting that some people got clinical questions and some didn’t!

I know right? I don't know how interview committees chose their questions, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are specific questions for certain parts of applications that stick out. I'm just sitting there along for the ride haha

So true. I read through some of these forums for previous years and a couple said that whether or not you got in depth clinical questions had to do with your score on the CCRN. Who knows if that’s actually true! Regardless, we made it this far, and that’s a huge accomplishment in itself ☺️

I felt I got a good score but I got clinical questions. I also bombed because I was too nervous. I guess I will have to wait!

Same here TrailRN

Did anyone receive or know when they will be sending out the survey about our preferences for clinical sites?
