Hi Everyone,
I am starting this thread for everyone to share information regarding the upcoming Texas Children's Hospital Graduate Nurse Residency cohort starting this Fall 2021. This is indicated for students who will be graduating/applying this Summer 2021.
Has anybody heard when the application cycle will open? I sent an email to recruitment a few weeks ago but have not heard back.
All information/advice is much appreciated!

For the people who got called yesterday, is your GPA over 3.5?
Also, did they mention if the interview is next week or so?
Hi! I’d like to mention that when I scheduled the interview for PICU it was online!! Just something interesting since last time it was in person. I also had a 3.7 upon graduation.

Hey! The same thing happened to me (they called me, I missed it, and then they didn't answer). Have you heard back about interviews? Because I have not and I am hoping it isn't because I wasn't able to get in contact with the recruiter.

Hi! I just had mine around an hour ago! I’d like to say it was hard! I had to make myself a sticking note with “STAR” on it to try to stick to the format but sometimes my stories didn’t quite fit. But they were very nice and I smiled as much as I could. Remained professional and was honest in the areas where I need help improving.
For those of you nervous about GPA. I got an interview with PICU with a 3.2 GPA

Was it just behavioral questions or did it include situational as well? Congrats and hopefully everything will work out for you!
