Texas Children's Hospital Nurse Residency Fall 2021

Hi Everyone, 

I am starting this thread for everyone to share information regarding the upcoming Texas Children's Hospital Graduate Nurse Residency cohort starting this Fall 2021. This is indicated for students who will be graduating/applying this Summer 2021. 

Has anybody heard when the application cycle will open? I sent an email to recruitment a few weeks ago but have not heard back. 

All information/advice is much appreciated!

Heard from TCH Recruiter today and they said TCH has not released the dates for Fall 2021 cohort but as soon as they do it will be posted on the careers section of TCH's website!

Hi! Thanks for starting this thread! I have emailed requesting the dates but have received no response. I am supposed to start my pedi/ob rotation in mid June and see that there is a "pedi/ob" professor LOC requirement. Does anyone else have this issue? I just don't know how I am supposed to earn an LOC from my professor if I haven't even started the rotation yet. Any help will help.

Same! I have my pedi capstone at the end of June as well. I’m sure applications will be open by then, but I’m not sure how I’m going to fulfill that requirement.

Still ask your professors. I had not started my OB or PEDI Rotation and still asked my professors for help and they wrote one for me.

Hi! So as of today the application has not opened yet, I have been keeping a close eye on the website though. I emailed recruiters and they did not give me a date/timeframe of when the application will open. ?

I'm so glad someone started this thread because I didn't see an application date for the Fall cohort and was worried I had missed it! I emailed the recruiters asking for any info on when apps will be posted. Is there any way they can be reached by phone?

I needed to see this I was getting so worried that I missed the date. So glad I’m not the only one confused and sooooo relieved I didn’t miss the dates!

I believe October 2021... still haven't open the application as of today, I've heard that TCH is one of the last places that post their applications, hopefully it will be posted in like the next 2 weeks?! 

I'll keep posting updates. 

Just curious... what departments are y'all interested in/applying for when the application open? ?
