Texas A&M Health Science Center (TAMHSC) Second Degree BSN Applicants Spring 2016

It doesn't look like a thread has been started on this yet...Application opens soon. Anyone else applying?

I don't think the class size thing is the best way to look at it. The class size is 42-44 with half at Round Rock and half in BCS. They will try to give you your preference, but if they can't but still want you, you still can get an acceptance to the other site. The admissions for the 2 sites aren't mutually exclusive.

I tried to leave a comment on the thread on my phone app but I don't think it posted. Congrats to y'all who made it in! I'm looking forward to meeting you in January if you accept your spot! Let me know if you have any questions about the program (and specifically at the Round Rock campus). I'm always happy to share my experiences.

For me I have to look at it that way as I cant go to the other location. I have a lease in Austin and couldn't just up and leave for a year to a different city unfortunately. I would be super bummed if I got in but the only option was BCS or something. Just keeping fingers crossed.

Could you consider subleasing? I would think the majority of people applying want to be in the college station campus so that they can be closer to student life and the main campus etc. I personally applied for the round rock campus as well. I need a change of scenery, personally.

I'm hoping for round rock as well!

Has anyone had any trouble with fingerprints? Mine have been rejected twice already, and if I have to go back for the 3rd time I'll have to pay the fee again. :/

what do you mean by your fingerprints being rejected?

They're poor quality/can't be read by the system

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't have that problem. The process for me was super quick and was done within 5 minutes.

Maybe try a different location to get them done? The guy that took mine made sure each finger was suitable before sending it off!

Mine went quick also. From what I saw she made sure the prints were very clear and they appeared that way to me. Still waiting though on if I have been accepted...have not heard anything. Very nervous since some people have heard now.

Just received an email that my application was complete and being reviewed by the selection committee. Anyone else receive this email or am I just late in the review/selection process?
