Texas A&M Health Science Center (TAMHSC) Second Degree BSN Applicants Spring 2016

Published

It doesn't look like a thread has been started on this yet...Application opens soon. Anyone else applying?

I was rejected as well, but going to UTHSC Houston! Im glad I get to experience being an aggie and longhorn

Got my rejection letter last week. Congrats to everyone who was accepted! Guess I'm truly a longhorn at heart!

I didn't get in as well but I will be going to UTMB and can't wait!

Did anyone get wait listed? I think I will be declining my admissions offer this week.

Have you been accepted to another program?

Yes UTHSC-Houston :)

Congrats! I was waitlisted to UTHSC.

Since there may have been some more admissions decisions made, I just wanted to remind everyone that I made a Facebook group for the College Station accepted students!

It seems they have only sent out acceptance and rejection notices but not waitlist notices. I could be wrong?

Well keep in mind that the number of unique users on this thread is kinda few, so our sample size is quite small. Due to how small the class size is, it's very possible that some applicants were waitlisted but just are not allnurses users.

For those of you that have been wait-listed: DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE! :)

There are about 6 students that were accepted after being waitlisted here on the RR campus. Personally, I was accepted to UTMB and UTHSC-Houston, and TAMU accepted me after placing me on the waitlist for only 1 day. I graduated from TAMU, and I am from Houston, so I decided to accept TAMU's offer of admission to the Round Rock campus, and I have not regretted it one bit! I love being here, and it is such a great place for clinicals! If any of you have questions about affordable places to rent, or anything pertaining to the program, just let me know!

So....I was waitlisted, then told that I was not being offered a spot, and then randomly got a phone call that I've been accepted. I might be one of those 6 you are referring to, haha. However I'm also about to interview with the UT AEMSN program. My ultimate goal is to be a psychiatric nurse practitioner so that is a more direct route...but this route would allow me to apply to a larger variety of FPMHNP programs once I have a BSN. Still trying to figure out what to do there.

I just got accepted for the Accelerated BSN program in 2017. I am trying to find someone to live with. any ideas on how to do that? thanks!
