Accepted as well! TAMU was my absolute first choice! Whoop!

Congrats! Would you mind sharing your stats so the rest of us know where we stand?

Congrats!! Will you be going to round rock or college station?

My acceptance was to College Station. My stats are:

Overall: 3.96

Nursing pre-reqs: 4.0

HESI: 95.6

I had a significant amount of healthcare experience, but not that much volunteer experience.

How were you guys accepted? Did they just send you an email to the same address as the one you corresponded about finger printing etc.

Would be nice to know where exactly I am looking. I only believe they have my primary email listed.

They sent the email to the address that you listed on the application, which for me, was the same one I used for the fingerprinting.

Thanks thats what I was assuming. I seems they may be giving offers to the highest qualified applicants and then if they don't accept by the deadline they move down the list to someone else.

I only had 3.4 overall (275 hrs) 3.7 science and 89 HESI. I think that puts me right in the average applicant. I have a ton of experience though and have to say my statement was the strongest thing on my application.

Hope to get in but only accepting 22-24 people for Round Rock means some good applicants wont get in unfortunately.

I don't think the class size thing is the best way to look at it. The class size is 42-44 with half at Round Rock and half in BCS. They will try to give you your preference, but if they can't but still want you, you still can get an acceptance to the other site. The admissions for the 2 sites aren't mutually exclusive.

I tried to leave a comment on the thread on my phone app but I don't think it posted. Congrats to y'all who made it in! I'm looking forward to meeting you in January if you accept your spot! Let me know if you have any questions about the program (and specifically at the Round Rock campus). I'm always happy to share my experiences.

For me I have to look at it that way as I cant go to the other location. I have a lease in Austin and couldn't just up and leave for a year to a different city unfortunately. I would be super bummed if I got in but the only option was BCS or something. Just keeping fingers crossed.

Could you consider subleasing? I would think the majority of people applying want to be in the college station campus so that they can be closer to student life and the main campus etc. I personally applied for the round rock campus as well. I need a change of scenery, personally.

I'm hoping for round rock as well!

Has anyone had any trouble with fingerprints? Mine have been rejected twice already, and if I have to go back for the 3rd time I'll have to pay the fee again. :/

what do you mean by your fingerprints being rejected?

They're poor quality/can't be read by the system

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't have that problem. The process for me was super quick and was done within 5 minutes.

Maybe try a different location to get them done? The guy that took mine made sure each finger was suitable before sending it off!

Mine went quick also. From what I saw she made sure the prints were very clear and they appeared that way to me. Still waiting though on if I have been accepted...have not heard anything. Very nervous since some people have heard now.

Just received an email that my application was complete and being reviewed by the selection committee. Anyone else receive this email or am I just late in the review/selection process?
