For those of you who have had your tests shut off at 75 questions, how did that make you feel? Did you feel confident that you passed or sure you failed? And what happened when you found out for sure?
I begged my computer to come back on, and tried the PVT and got the good pop-up but am still waiting for quick results. It really scared me though for it to shut off so early. I thought wow, did I really do that bad? Can't I do just a couple more questions to prove myself? I will do better I swear.
This waiting game is almost worse than the test itself...
Way back in the dark ages, when I first took NCLEX for LPN, it was so different than now! I see youall posting about the PVT, quick results, and being on the BON site shortly. Man, oh, man.
When I took LPN boards, you only tested in Oct or April for everyone. Everyone took 120 questions in the am and 120 questions in the Pm. Rn testing took 2 full days at that time. So I graduated PN in August, took NCLEX in October(You had to test within 90 days) and, due to a mis-counting error, I found out my results DECEMBER 6th by MAIL!!! YES SIX WEEKS LATER!!!! LOL Crazy!
When I took my RN NCLEX 4 years later, it was now on the computer, but no PVT, No quick results!! I was lucky and got my MAIL results one week later!! (I took 45 minutes, 75 questions and passed)
Anyway, long story short... good luck to all testing whether sooner or later and RELAX!!
Add me to the 75 question club. I had a ton of SATA questions too. As I walked out I felt completely defeated. I thought it was the hardest test ever and was sure that I had bombed it. The woman working at the test center told me that having the test shut off after 75 questions was a good thing and that I need not worry. Her words did not help. I went to my car and cried for a minute to let off some steam. Came home from the test and did the Pearson trick and got the good pop up but still didn't believe I passed. Then I found my name on the BON website. Holy crap, I passed! It was an amazingly good feeling!
Congrats to the OP!!!

Huhuhu. You are so lucky! Congrats! If only I could go to Saipan and ask them. LOL. Kinda odd but the PVT keeps my hope up. This is my 2nd time in taking the test and my last shot I went up to 265. I feel different this time that's why I'm still praying for a miracle.
