So I took my NCLEX this morning and feel like I failed. There was NOTHING on there that I knew. Out of the whole 75, i think I maybe knew 3 or 4 questions. I finished all of the Kaplan Qbank questions with an average of 64% and also finished all the trainers. I'm just really fustrated because i feel like no matter how much studying I did, I would not have been prepared for that test. I will now have to wait the 48 hours out and see.
Hang in there>>. hoping for a good result for you...I got my results on a Sunday after sitting the exam on the Friday...did not try the trick just waited and did not believe that I had passed on leaving that examination room at all...so there is great hope for you...
Thank you for your kind words. I am a nervous wreck right now but I will keep you all updated.
Hey! I took mine on Friday--75Q 53 minutes. I got a question that was out of a 9 ninth grade biology book. Seriously...then I had some crazy questions. I was sure I failed--so sure that I signed up for some tutoring sessions. Well.... I got my quick results yesterday and I PASSED. On hold results can occur for lots of reasons--especially any testing center irregularities. When I was about to go in for mine, some guy in a track suit showed up wanting to see the center before his test the following week and the lady at the desk told him that the entire center was under surveillance and that they would like be called following any irregularity or unexpected visitor. So...just try your very best to rest and relax--because chances are you passed. Honestly the NCLEX was not a test (for me) of nursing knowledge or competence....I don't know what it was......

That is amazing! congrats.. At the testing center they had a problem with the camera and for some reason it wouldn't take my picture so I had to go through the whole procedure of palm scan, signing my name and trying to take my picture about 3 times. After my picture was finally taken, it was 10 minutes after my test was scheduled to start. It was a good thing I got there 30 minutes early. They told me they would have to make an incident report so Im assuming this is the reason for the hold. I just wish they would speed this whole procedure up so that I can move on.
Yes. I'm telling you, this is most likely your problem--the camera incident. I'm sure the hold will clear soon. The woman at my center was really upset about this guy being there and she kept saying how the HQ was going to be calling her. Anyway, when I tell you that I thought I failed---I really did think this. It wasn't one of those...oh..maybe I failed . I could see no way that I could pass. The questions that I had were so OUT THERE. There was little way for me to eliminate answers--the topics were very "legal" oriented. I had no clue...and then when I saw my super easy question, I was sure I was done for. However, it's unlikely I was every below the line of passing if I only got 75 Qs... I don't know. Try, try, try to relax. Believe me I know it's so hard. Do what I did--have two glasses of wine before you open your quick results!!! :) :)
I know this in no way helps...but being as I'm only in my second semester lol I feel like you're talking about an ATI test (Kaplan's sonuvabitch brother). I walked out of my med-surg feeling like I absolutely failed because I knew nothing...but I was able to talk my way through all of the multiple choice answers and actually got an 80 (which is in the 99%) on it. So hopefully if you were able to at least work your way through everything you'll do better than you think. Good luck!!!

I will be on the computer refreshing from the moment I wake up tomorrow. I think the waiting is definitely the worst part.
