Hey Everyone, I created this thread for anybody looking to apply for the 2016 LVN or ADN program at Temple College! Anyone and Everyone is welcome to come and discuss your application processes, Acceptance into the programs, your nursing history with Temple College, etc.. I look forward to speaking and hopefully meeting my new fellow classmates through this thread!

Scrubs are around $30-40 a set and you can get them anywhere they just have to be the same item number, brand is landau, and color is hunter green. You can get everyother accessory you want in any color you want from where ever you want. They do sell them at the school but everything is usually overpriced there. Yes you will have access to powerpoints, and you can bring your laptop if you want to as well. You are also required to get a lab coat and a TC emblem. And a nurses equipment kit from some site thats around $50 it is your skills equipment. And no problem :) hope this info helps.

Thanks so much. How about shoes? How strict are they? Do want an all white shoe? no color? etc. My shoes from the LVN program were nike shoe but the bottom of the shoe is black which sparked some questions at one point, but I was still able to wear them. Is the lab coat bought through the school? Or can you suggest where to buy it? Im not from temple so I wouldn't know where to go.

They are pretty strict with the shoes, all white with no clearly visible emblem, and it cannot be mesh material. IDK Im not from TEmple either and I got my stuff in Harker Heights. You can get all your unifroms from were ever you want as long as it is the same model number and color.

Do you know if you've already taken the coreqs and pharmacology how that plays into the schedule?
