Temple College Nursing 2016!!!

Published

Hey Everyone, I created this thread for anybody looking to apply for the 2016 LVN or ADN program at Temple College! Anyone and Everyone is welcome to come and discuss your application processes, Acceptance into the programs, your nursing history with Temple College, etc.. I look forward to speaking and hopefully meeting my new fellow classmates through this thread!

Thanks!!!

Just left the ADN office. She said they are up to about 45. This is why they extended the due date, and the new HESI requirements has a lot to do with it.

Wow! I'm interested to see what the final count ends up being. Thanks for the info.

Did they say that anything about the applicants that turned their apps in on time, if there would be any benefit?

She didn't say, and I didn't think to ask either. I should've. But she said they do accept the Pharmacology class from MCC. I believe someone was inquiring about that.

Thank you for asking!

Does anyone know what the schedule is like once accepted? Maybe I'm being over confident. Lol. But I like to be prepared.

Based off of what current nursing students have said, I believe it's:

Monday everyone 12-4

Tuesday everyone 8-4

Wednesday (a) 11:30-2:45 (b) 8-2:45

Thursday (a) 8-3:45 (b) 8:30-1:30

Now I'm not sure what or who determines whether you're in group A or B.

I found this off of last year's forum.

Okay thank you. I wonder if it's the same if you have all the coreqs complete?

I'm not sure. I think that is the schedule no matter what... you would just plan your coreqs around that schedule

Hey everyone! I just dropped off my application yesterday before work. I live an hour and a half away and will be commuting (I also won't get that service area point.) I applied with only 9/13 points. I have all the co-reqs, and got an average of 92.4 on the HESI (probably should have looked over some math stuff). My GPA is only 3.4 though. I look forward to seeing some of you in the Fall!

Did you happen to see how many applicants there are so far? :)

I didn't get an exact number, but she said that they were really low on the number of applicants this year.
