Temple College 2011 ADN/LVN

Ok well how did everyone do on the Hesi??? And what are the GPA's looking like??? I got a 95 on the exam whih I have heard is pretty good but I have always been a good test taker. I'm not sure what my GPA is right now but I know it could be better. Right now I have an A in the computer course.. B in psychology and its looking like a B for a and p.. I also have taken some of the co reqs and I still need to take A&P 2.. micro.. speech.. and that may be it. Thanks for reading really hope to see replies now...

Hello! I am new to this website and I came across your post! I am applying for the ADN program in the fall for temple! I am very excited yet nervous as to whether I will get in or not. I have taken all of the pre reqs and have a 3.3 GPA for them. I made a 82 on the HESI and am hoping that is good enough to get accepted. Are you also applying for the fall semester??

Hi! I'm glad I found a forum where I can talk to other students about the program. I'm very anxious about getting the acceptance letter. Does anyone know if they have been mailed out yet? I applied for the LVN program. I got an 88% on the HESI and have a 4.0 GPA. I am not considered as being a temple resident, so I am a little concerned about it. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Hello Nevelyn20!!!!! I am excited to see people are finally coming and posting lol... but to answer your question.. on the paper I have from the nursing department its just says the letters will be sent ou sometime after the second week in February. So pretty soon we will know... are you also planning to apply to the ADN program??? Just curious, where do you live??? Many areas surrounding Temple are still considered in district.

No, I'm not applying to the ADN program. I plan to get my LVN and do the bridging later, meanwhile I can work on those classes. I live in Killeen and the nursing dept said that this area belongs to CTC. I was just wondering about the letters because when I turned in my application, they told me to be on the lookout the first week of February. I am really worried about the in-district point. I was reading some posts from last year and some people missed it because of that one point. I'm hoping that my GPA saves me, but who knows....I'm praying and crossing my fingers!!

Wow really!? I thought for sure Killeen would be considered in district. Well don't give up hopefully that doesn't hold you back. I would love to see the letters arrive sooner than expected so that we can all stop stressing over it... you have a perfect GPA and and awesome test score so I will keep my fingers crossed fo you!!!!

Congratulations to you too!!! Yep, I already did my physical & turned in all my paperwork to the LVN dept. What campus did you get accepted to and what's your first name? I guess we will be seeing each other in April. I already got some of my nursing peeps meeting me there. Maybe we can all head out to lunch and celebrate afterwards.
