Tell me your GPA. Just wanna compare

Nursing Students Male Students

I was wondering what the GPA of the average student applying to an accelerated program is. Mine is 3.6. Is this good? Do you think I am in a good position for being accepted? Do you guys thinks being a male helps in getting accepted? I was just wondering as there are so few male nurses out there. Just looking to see what my chances are. By the way, I am applying to NYU's accelerated program, so if there are any guys out there who are doing the same or have gone through their program I would really like to hear from you...

Thanks everyone!:nuke:

I graduated w/ barely a 3.0, and I'm surprised it was still that high by graduation.

I hope you proud of yourself, I seen worster GPA's than yours. I had a friend of mne who had 2.0 and it was amazing that the LPN program she attended allowed her in witt her very low gpa.

I got accepted to an accelerated program with a 3.1 overall. That broke down as 2.6 from undergrad, 3.4 from grad school, and 3.9 in 60 hours of post-bac work.

Man, I got into my accelerated program with a 2.9, lol. I am in my last class for my accelerated program and have a 4.0. I guess you could say I didn't really apply myself the first time around...

I like the symbolism of this thread in the Male RN Student forum
