Hi, I took the TEAS V in August and my school only requires a score of 60...which I made a 67.3. My GPA is 3.9 and I am really nervous that it won't be enough to get me in. This is only the second year my school has had the ADN program but it is becoming popular really fast so I don't know how many students I am competing with. They are only taking 30 students. I feel like I am going to crack. We will not hear anything until next month. Has anyone else been accepted into their program with a TEAS score similiar to mine? I want to ask my nursing adviser what my chances are but I am too scared. I don't want to seem desperate. Any advice?
Thank you!! I was not expecting to get in. I was told that the committee was looking at several things besides your gpa and teas scores, such as are your pre-reqs finished, and especially your attitude, they asked for several instructors opinions b/c they know us as students already. I will be in the second class for my school so they are depending heavily on the first class for accredidation. I heard they have already lost 8 students so far due to poor judgement on selections. Makes for a harder selction process and coursework for us but makes me more proud that I was one of the 30 that got in!!! :) Like I said my Teas score was not great but I have worked hard and my gpa was 3.9 and I made it. So don't worry so much about your teas b/c that is not all they are looking at.
what school are you applying to? I am applying to GPC and I got 76% for TEA V. I dont know how they interpret the score because it is so confusing. Any help is appreciated.
Hey heoconbubu. I really want to know what book did you use to study for the exam. And any study methods please. Thanks so much .
I am pre-nursing at LA Delta CC and I take the TEAS in two days. I'm praying to get in the Spring 2012 program. I have the grades, I hope to have the TEAS score (crossed fingers), but I'm wondering is it going to hurt me to not have my Micro or Speech/Art done before Jan?
As someone who made it and is about to finish their last semester, I'm just curious..
Overall how difficult is the Delta program?
Where do the clinicals take place?
Any advice for someone like me?
