TEAS Test version V

Hey guys!

I have been reading every thread on the TEAS test for days now. I thought I was fully prepared with what I needed to study. However, my school is now using a newer version of the test. It is Teas version V. Has anyone taken this version? Is it all that different for 3.0/4.0? Any help, insight you can provide would be amazing. I am due to take the test in March, and have already begun to study so as to be as prepared as possible.

Thanks all!!

if your test is in march then you have time to study, the new test is not much different, i think they just add a few extra out of the blue questions. get the teas study guide and the mcgraw-hills nursing school entrance exam book. memorize the teas study guide with extra focus on the science portion with solutions to the energy\sound waves and such. english and reading sections are breeze.

Hi. I've been trying to figure out which version my school will be administering. I even called my school and they said they are unsure. How did you find out you had to take the new version?

Vectrexevo- I have the McGraw-Hill, the Kaplan, and I will order the ATI next week when they offer the Version V study guide bundled with the practice test. Thanks! :)

etamuro- I was able to call my school and ask. You might need to speak with someone in admissions directly for your program. The "general" admission people may not know.

Just to let everyone know, some of the online bookstores are offering the study manual for the same price as the test manufacturer, but with free shipping that the manufacturer does not offer. I believe same with the CDS that offer practice tests.

I am scheduled to take the Teas V in two weeks. I have the study guide and online assessments to take for practice which I will do shortly. Does anyone know how difficult earning a 90% on this test will be? I know this is dependent on a lot of factors, but I have mostly seen people complaining about the difficulty of the test and their nervousness about it, more than others stating they did well. Guess I just want to hear that its not an impossibility. Any info or advice is appreciated! thx

Wondering how you did on the test? Was it as difficult as anticipated? What sections are worth studing extra hard for? Im scheduled in 3 weeks. Need insight.... HELP!!!!

Are there any nurses attending Baptist Healthcare School of Nursing LVN to RN mobility program? They just started using the TEAS V, can you tell me what areas I need to focus on? Thanks for your help. Look forward to hearing from Texas nurses
