Teas Test

Published

Hi! I just signed up here a couple days ago - pretty cool site:)

I have finished my prereqs for nursing school and turned in a couple apps already - but there is another nursing school I had decided not to apply this time around because they do some of their lectures online and I don't really like the online format for learning important subjects. Well, anyway - now the closing date for that school is coming up and I thought maybe I should just apply - i'd rather get in there then have to wait another 6 months. The only thing is they require the TEAS test (the other 2 schools don't require it until you are accepted. Anyway...I can't seem to find a testing site - they are all full....wah!

It's so hard to work towards something only to have to wait...

Sorry about that! I am also applying to CSUS, but i figured i might as well try a coupls CCs, however i dont think i am going to now.Maybe for the fall. Did you apply to Humboldt state? Thats the one im most counting on. I only applied to 4 CSUS for the spring, so hopefully i get in to one!!

For ARC you definitely need to make an appointment - I called today and the first they had available was next Thursday, so call soon. I'm pretty sure you need an appointment at SCC too.

ya I applied to Sac State, Chico, Humboldt, Stanislaus, Long Beach, San Bernadino and Fresno..... Lets hope at least one wants me :)

. I was about to send my application and i noticed the part where it says Counselors Signature Required. . i am not from the area, did you have to make an appt with a counselor, or can you just walk in? :banghead:

I *THINK* that the counselors have walk-in availability on Fridays. If you can't get an appointment, then ask if they have walk-ins. Show up first thing in the morning and hope for the best. I got in to SCC as a walk-in, but had to make an appointment at ARC. GOOD LUCK!

ARC and SCC both say you have to make a counseling appt to get your curriculum summary signed.

but maybe you can walk in?

Good luck!

Anyone have any of the "training" materials for the teas test that they are willing to part with? How much?
