Val - that's great!! What was "Your Score"? The top number on the right hand side...that is the # our school goes by. In relation to our school's experience, the class that was admitted for last fall had an average of 83%. My friends and I got 87, 88, 89 - respectively. Your score sounds FANTASTIC!! I just wanted to share to give you some comparison :)
Good luck!!!!

Hi Traci - my actual "score" on the test was 90.6. I think that's what you're talking about! My school goes by the program percentile, so we'll see! Congratulations on your score also - that's great!! Good luck!!!!! Thanks everybody!!!

Hi Val0000, Congrats!!!! I've just joined this site about a week ago. I have to take the TEAS on April 19th. I am so stressed!!!! I have three kids (18,14, and 12) three dogs, two cats, chemistry and A&P 2. Oh and I can't forget the hubby!!! If you have any advice for me about the TEAS I would appreciate it. I'm trying to study for it while studying for everything else. I recite my notes into my tape recorder and I listen to it whenever I'm driving or cleaning my house. I tell you it works great. Congrats again!!!:balloons: :roll :roll

Congratulations and Good Luck!
Hi Martrap - You have A LOT on your plate! Congrats for being able to handle everything! I studied the study guide like crazy!! Especially the math section because it covered so much. That was the most difficult part for me on the test because I ran out of time - it goes so fast!! I had to guess on three questions because I only had two minutes left. Don't spend too much time on one problem, skip it and answer the ones you know. That way you can get as many correct answers as you can! The study guide didn't help me too much with the science section because most of it was thinking problems. Ex. It will give you a problem and than ask you which is the best experiment to test the hypothesis. This was hard because sometimes more than one answer could be correct - you just had to choose the "best" answer. Also, don't blow off the english section, it seems easy, but I actually did the worst on that section! I like your study technique - that's a good idea! I usually talk outloud to myself. I walk around at work, talking out loud (people must think I'm crazy!) Anyways, Good luck!! As long as you study you'll do great!! Let me know how you do! Sorry this is so long! :) :)
if you have any advice for me about the teas i would appreciate it.
definintely study the study guide. also check out this website www.testprepreview.com/teas_practice.htm
i went through everything on that website. although some of those ?s were harder than what was actually on the test. but to tell you the truth, i ran out of time on the math section. i thought i was managing time better, but i had a couple of questions i just could not get to come out right. i should have just skipped them and went on, and then come back to them if i had time. and what sucks is the whole reason i wasted so much time on them was because i wasn't keeping my columns straight in long addition and subtraction. so remember to write neat, when you are working your problems out, and keep your columns straight. good luck, and you have quite a while to study still, just try to do some everyday and you should be fine.
