I currently have an B.S. in another area, and I decided to take the pre-reqs for nursing (BSN). In fact I am going to be in last semester of taking nursing pre-req classes in the fall. I began studying for the TEAS 2 weeks ago. So far I have just reviewed the reading comprehension and the math. I mainly used the ATI guide, but also the "Ace the TEAS Test" (Which is a bit helpful).
My goal is to get in the 90's. I want to be as competitive as possible because we all know that nursing admissions are in fact quite competitive. I am looking for other books, online programs to utilize. I do have the McGraw-Hill's 5 Practice test, however I find the questions easier than the ATI guide. I'm quite disappointed. I also do not want to purchase the online practice test of the ATI. I don't feel the need to pay $40+ for simply one practice test, plus I heard its harder than the actual exam. A lot of the "Nursing School Entrance Exams" don't cover the topics covered in the TEAS. I am also a bit slower in the reading comprehension compared to the math. I really wanted a source that would cover the reading comprehension topics throughly.
I was considering Benchprep. Didn't know what you guys would recommend.
