I was just wondering for those that retook the TEAS what your score ended up being. Is it possible to make a big difference on the second test?
I got an 81 composite score, and I am scheduled to retake 3/18.
What can I expect?

My first time I got a 74%. I took it 2 weeks later and got a 78%. The math section was really difficult for me. I was disappointed because math is my strongest subject. I have the ATI study manual and had no problems with their pratice problems. I even went to a math workshop at my school for two nights. That was a waste of twenty dollars. There just isn't enough time for me to complete 45 questions in 55 minutes. I truly feel like I did the best I could in the time frame they give you. I did bring up my english and science scores, so it is possible to retake and do better. Good luck on your next trial.
Futurenurse,
Thanks for sharing your improved scores. makes me feel better knowing it can happen.
Anyone else?

wishNhopeNdreamN, I have heard that repeating the test improves scores by about 10 points. This was at an a NS information session, so they probably really see the results. I am not sure if was actual points, percentages, ranking or what. I would guess it all depends on what people do between test one and test two! But maybe just feeling less stressed helps, or being more familiar with the kinds of questions asked.

The first time I took it I got a comp. of 79.45% the second time around I got a composite score of 88.8% well worth taking it a second time! I was ranked in the 95th percentile for the program. I sure hope I get in this time around. Good luck.
wow!
that is a great improvement on your scores. I hope you get into the program you want. Good Luck to you too!
