I'm using the ATI study guide (don't know if that is the one you have) and i thought that the science portion was very difficult. www.testpreview.com made me worried about my math.... so now i'm nervous about the exam.
I've been told by many that they felt the study guide was harder than the real exam... hope that calms your nerves a bit.
good luck!!
FWIW, I did find the actual exam to be quite a bit easier than the study guide. After you've taken all the exams in the book and calculated your scores, go back and study the areas in which you didn't do so well. Then when you've memorized as much as you can, go back and take the tests again and see how much better you do. It helps if there is at least a week or two between each time you take the practice tests so that you're not using memory of the questions for the answers.
There is a lot more information in the guide than they could fit on the actual test with only 170 questions. I found TEAS itself to be relatively easy.
I don't want to add to anyone's anxiety, but in my opinion, the test and study guide were quite similar in difficulty. If you're looking for science prep- here's a good site: www.geography4kids.com, at the bottom of the site it links to other science sites (chem, physics, bio) that are also decent review sites. Good luck.
One other thing I would recommend is making sure you've read the questions VERY carefully. I thought that quite a few were easily misread on both my practice and actual exams.

I am studying the TEAS practice manual and I am finding the practice tests to be rather difficult. I have been grading my practice tests and I am scoring between 68%-95% on the various sections.
I am concerned about the difficulty of the actual TEAS test.
I have a 4.0 in all the sciences, English, Psych ,etc. Why am I not doing well on these practice tests!
I am deeply concerned!
