Ive just applied to the nursing program at TCU for the fall of 2016. I was just wondering if anyone else is looking for a forum to communicate with others that are in the same boat. A little information about myself: I am a current student at TCU that just transferred from Weatherford College. I have 3 more prerequisites to complete before nursing school starts. My overall GPA Is a 3.3 and I have received an A in both A&P courses, B in Microbiology, B in nutrition, and an A in Intro to psychology. I am scheduled to take the HESI A2 test on January 13th, in which I will have to update my NursingCAS afterwards. Also, I am a 4 year Army veteran and a current member of the reserve component as a Medic. I hold a EMT license as well.
Hopefully my chances are good lol. I'm looking to hear from many of you!
It stinks that we have to wait for so long from TCU. Everyone who applied to TWU, keep your eyes peeled. We should be finding out from them in about a week or two.
Is anyone else sprinting to their mailbox? Lol! I actually had a dream last night where my tcu letter said the accelerated program did not receive enough applicants so it wasn't available this year. I know it's ridiculous! I'm trying to not think about TCU buts it's obviously in my subconscious lol.
I didn't receive an email, was it for Accelerated Aplicants? Also, does anyone know how the acceptance process will work if I am still completing prerequisites? Will they wait list me until all is complete, or will they go ahead and accept/deny?
Hi I didn't receive an email and I'm an accelerated applicant. I called the office the end of February and was told I had already been evaluated and that letters would go out around mid March. I don't know if evaluated is the same as reviewed.
