Ive just applied to the nursing program at TCU for the fall of 2016. I was just wondering if anyone else is looking for a forum to communicate with others that are in the same boat. A little information about myself: I am a current student at TCU that just transferred from Weatherford College. I have 3 more prerequisites to complete before nursing school starts. My overall GPA Is a 3.3 and I have received an A in both A&P courses, B in Microbiology, B in nutrition, and an A in Intro to psychology. I am scheduled to take the HESI A2 test on January 13th, in which I will have to update my NursingCAS afterwards. Also, I am a 4 year Army veteran and a current member of the reserve component as a Medic. I hold a EMT license as well.
Hopefully my chances are good lol. I'm looking to hear from many of you!
I have applied to the traditional track program, I am currently an LVN at JPS and hope that helps me some. I have been an LVN for 4 years. My GPA is not great 3.2 I think, I did pretty well on the HESI exam. The wait is the worst!! Hurry up and get here April!
Hey fellow applicants! I applied for the accelerated program at TCU. I initially thought my application was not going to be looked at because it was not verified by the Feb. 1 deadline, but a few days ago I received an email saying the school got all of my information. I'm so excited! Time for the waiting game. Good luck to everyone!
