TCU Fall 2014 Applicants

Published

I know TCU is really expensive however, someone is applying ... right? I am going to apply just to see what happens. I am applying as a transfer student, 3.76 overall GPA... working on increasing my science GPA from 3.50. There is information on the TCU site, but not a lot. Can anyone tell me what their selection process or trend for acceptance GPA wise is? How is the program for those who were accepted? What were the stats for those who were wait-listed in the past? What are your stats for those who are applying?

This post is for hopefuls and current students with information to share.

I had a 4.0 overall GPA and 4.0 science GPA....82 on hesi

Congratulations! Hope you enjoy it.

I'm still waiting to hear back...hopefully, I'll hear back soon. I do live in California, so letters possibly take longer to arrive than letters going within Texas.

Thank You! yeah that's true it only took a day for the letter to get to me since i live down the street. So, you will most likely get it at the beginning of next

hey nursingqueen have heard back from tcu

I got my letter!

I was waitlisted, so I’m going to think about whether I should accept the wait list position or not.

I also applied to TLU’s nursing program, so we’ll see what they say.

Hey! Kevinwatsonedu I received my letter last Friday. I'm not for sure if I'm going to take the wait list spot or not. I think I might will.

you should take the waitlist. I received my email from ut tyler did not get in big disappointment. Then the email does not say that they regret not to accept you but says that their full. Now im just waiting on uta and midwestern so frustrating.

Wow. I did take the wait list spot last night. So UT Tyler is full? I bet you would get into Midwestern. They are going to email their acceptance decision. Do you know about how many points you had for midwestern? When is UTA sending their acceptance decision?

UT Tyler could had at least offer their sympathy! This process for students is stressful!

Im a little confuse about there point system. I went by UTA degree plan so im missing a couple of midwestern core curriculum. Im complete with their bsn prereq requirement. I will just leave it in gods hand and whatever he has plan for. I've work very hard any keep getting no's but i'll keep trying until I get that yes

Do you know when midwestern will be emailing us? I hate I didn apply to UTA accelerated program also because every one kept saying you had to be partner with a hospital but you actually dont and the program accepts almost 200 something students

MSU will be emailing us in 3 to 4 weeks ughhhhhhhh :/
