I know TCU is really expensive however, someone is applying ... right? I am going to apply just to see what happens. I am applying as a transfer student, 3.76 overall GPA... working on increasing my science GPA from 3.50. There is information on the TCU site, but not a lot. Can anyone tell me what their selection process or trend for acceptance GPA wise is? How is the program for those who were accepted? What were the stats for those who were wait-listed in the past? What are your stats for those who are applying?
This post is for hopefuls and current students with information to share.
They lady I spoke with said they already mailed me the letter, and I should had already received it. Idk! I'm taking Chemistry this summer and after summer 1 in July I'm going to sign my lease if I decide midwestern by that time I should hear back from tcu and know which I will go with. Honestly I was so hyped about midwestern after talking to the lady over their admission. It would be very affordable as well! What about you!?
Well I cant really decide when I haven't been accepted into any program yet lol but yea Midwestern might be better for you that way you won't accumalate debt going to tcu. Although TCU is a good school. I'll attend Midwestern if they accept me and no where else, Im still waiting on UTA also but theres so many applicants I dont think i stand a chance
UTA they said mid april so somewhere around next week or the week after. UT Tyler said this week and next week. I've been checking my email almost every hour. WOw grad school, thats great what area of specialty are you going in? Nurse Practioner? Grad school is so far out of my mind right now lol but I know I will definitely go maybe about 3 years after working in the field.
Cool!!! You will be able to weigh your options out soon :)
I wonder when midwestern will send theirs out. Don you happen to know?
I want to specialize in CRNA. I'm going to aim to work in ICU/critical care or med surg for two years then apply to the three CRNA schools in Texas including TCU lol.
But as of now I need to get into a BSN program before I think about grad school lol.
