TCU CRNA program for January 2016

Published

Hello everyone!!! I know, a little early. I just can't wait for application period to come around. Currently taking a Chemistry course to boost my GPA some. Looking to hear from other future applicants. Go FROGS!

Agreed, September seems so far away. Just submitted my application. The waiting is the worst.

Absolutely! I'm so ready to just know!! And the application deadline isn't even here yet!! Then we have to count down to the interviews! September seems like forever away!

I sure hope it's true that they interview anyone who meets the minimum requirements!

That's what the website states! We shall see!

Just submitted my application. Doesn't look good for me, I barely match up to any of you! I do meet the minimum requirements though so I guess we'll see. If I don't get in there's always next year :)

Oh don't worry, I'm barely there too! That's why I'm reeeeeally hoping everyone who applies gets an interview haha.

At least everyone has submitted their applications. I am still working on my admissions essay and getting my clinical verifications together since I have worked two different jobs. I hope it doesn't look bad that I am turning everything in right before the deadline! So are most people on here from Texas or are people coming from other states as well?

I'm not from Dallas-Fort Worth, but I'm from Texas.

I live in Austin but I'm not from TX, but would like to stay in state. I've actually only been in Texas for a year.

Also, I was missing part of my application--clinical employment verification from a non-ICU job I held a while back. So, mine isn't technically in yet either! Hope they don't mind receiving a bunch of different documents from me...

Triathalon Nurse, I was thinking the same thing. All of my documents have been sent separately. I saw on the website though that they didn't want the recommendations sent together so I assume they don't mind. Obviously they have some way of putting it all together but it is a lot of items! I live in Georgia so I guess I would be re-locating anywhere no matter what location I get, but I prefer the DFW area.

Hello everyone. I'm putting in my application last minute too. Just need the clinical verification letter and I'll have a complete packet. Good luck to everyone. I currently live in San Antonio. Put DFW as #1 clinical site choice.

I am really doubting my chances. Did not do as well as planned on GRE. Their website says that generally applicants have at least a 302 but scored a 290. Has anyone heard of anyone being accepted with a low GRE score?

Obviously I can't say for sure since I'm applying just like you and haven't talked to past applicants about their GRE scores, but by the way TCU words it on the website I was under the impression that at least a 302 was required, not suggested. You should just call the school and see what they advise! They're very helpful.
