Hello everyone!!! I know, a little early. I just can't wait for application period to come around. Currently taking a Chemistry course to boost my GPA some. Looking to hear from other future applicants. Go FROGS!
In my opinion the GRE majorly sucks and is not a predictor of success. My husband (not in health care) did average on his GRE and is doing amazing (4.0) in his masters program. His friend got a 320 and flunked out of the same program. If it is a minimum REQUIREMENT I wouldn't apply, so I'd call and see what they say. Call today though, apps are due next Wednesday. Good luck, just know you are better than a silly score.
I called on June 10 to make sure they didn't need a specific form, won't get into details because I don't want them to look at this website and figure out who I am...but they said I do not need it. I called on June 20 to make sure they had all of my documents...they said yes, my application was complete.
June 30, at 4:57pm: they call to say that they do not have all of the documents and if I don't have one in particular (the one they clearly said they did NOT need) in the mail by July 1, I will not be considered for admission. Guess what? I couldn't get it in. There was no possible way.
Truth be told, I am not sure I want to attend a school that lies to applicants saying they don't need specific documents but then changes their mind. I hope y'all have a better experience than me, so if I'm not accepted anywhere this year I probably won't reapply to TCU. Good luck! Maybe I'll see some of y'all in clinical/FW if I go to TWU.

I received a similar call, but they said as long as they received it eventually it was fine. I had also called to confirm all documents had been received. The missing document must've been a less important document than yours, obviously. That's such a bummer, though. I hope you have better luck elsewhere!
TriathalonNurse,
How disappointing that must have been I am sorry! I hate that they did that to you. I know I would be completely devastated if that happened to me as I am completely relying on things falling into place at TCU and there is only one starting class per year. I don't know about everyone else but I am already anxiously awaiting the call to interview even though its not for a month..eeekkkk!

From past posts it seems like we'll be notified by mid to the end of July! I hope so!

Sounds to me like a miscommunication on the part of the office. Don't believe that the school would lie to you (a deliberate act). Did you call them to seek clarification? Perhaps you should ask to speak to the director of the school.

After three calls afterwards, I do agree that it was not a deliberate act but on first glance it surely seemed that way. Lucky for me I am extremely organized and wrote down the exact times that I spoke with the school as well as their names and the school did say they were impressed by that, and I will be considered for an interview because it was understood by one of the women working in the office that the form did not need to be submitted and it is not posted on their website anywhere.
However, I don't believe I want to attend TCU anyways after all of this--I have been offered interviews at two other places, both of which appeared much more organized and transparent the past few weeks. Plus, relocating to FW/any of the other sites TCU offers would really be burdensome on my family compared with other cities, so I truly believe that things happen for a reason!

Yeah, probably wouldn't be a good fit for either of you!

If you look at their FAQ's, it says they do not have a required minimum score on the GRE. I will call and see what they advise me to do. I could always just retake and try again next year if it does not work out.
