So... How many of the class with be going to baton rouge with me for clinicals?

what time is the dinner on the 21st?

6:00 PM at the Kelly Center; 2820 Stadium Drive

what time is the dinner on the 21st?

I think the dinner is on the 22nd. Is that right? I didn't pay attention to the time though. Anyone know what the actual date & time is?

Are any of you tadpoles assigned to Decatur for clinicals? :D

I'm going to Decatur for clinicals too! I was wondering who the other person was! Have you been there, or know anything about it?

Is anyone going to be commuting to TCU from the Dallas area? They told me people in previous programs did it, but the more I think about it, the better having a place to stay in Fort Worth during the week sounds.

Working has been the failure of many a student. Don't do it...you just might find yourself working those shifts full-time and never as a CRNA.

What do see as the harm in working a few shifts over xmas break?

i don't see a probably with working those shifts. Oh but here is the BUT your taking thousands and thousands of dollars of loans out each year, why work 12 hrs for a few hundred when you could have the down time with your family?

I was there today, and yesterday, and the day before... :wink2:

A few shifts over the long holiday break is OK. Working during the school semester is not a good idea.

For those of you who haven't heard yet, due to pancreatitis I am withdrawing from school and will start next August instead. Kay, the most wonderful & supportive director in the world, it being completely supportive. I am going to miss not being in class with all of you fine folks. This is something I've been battling this summer and am currently back in the hospital. My pancreatitis stemmed from a surgery to correct a malformed pancreatic duct (did I mention that I have 2 pancreas's?). Anyway, I need time to recoup before I take on something this immense. Thanks for all your support guys and I will see you next year!

Very sorry to hear about your illness and the delay in your plans. We know you are disappointed about this and were excited to get started. Get well, before you know it...it will be next year!

I can fully understand, and support, Kay being the Program Director of the Year! She is great and I have felt a lot of love from her through this ordeal. By the way, 2 days ago my lipase was 700 and today....drumroll...it's 370!!!! 280 is normal so almost there (again!)..... Am feeling great, very energetic and have some really great plans for relaxing & recouping this year while I am on "va-ca"!!!! Yep, Kay is the BOMB!:bow::bow::bow::bow::bow:
